CBSE School Explains What to Do When You're Confused in Class
Everyone has had one of those moments where they don't know what the teacher is talking about. You look around to see if everyone else looks like they're getting it, and somehow you seem to be the only one that's confused.
You glance over at the guy next to you, and he's furiously writing notes when suddenly his hand shoots in the air, and he asks some question using words you don't even know.
What is going on?
Don't worry. According to one of the top 10 CBSE schools in South Kolkata, here's what you can do to get yourself back on track.
Examine yourself
It may be that you have skipped the topic or section of the topic that your teacher is teaching. If this is the case, quickly review the missed reading and attempt to rejoin the lecture.
If the missed section is too large to skim through, note it down to remind yourself to go over the section that you missed after the class.
Ask your teacher
If you find yourself confused, note it down and ask your teacher about the topic that you find confusing after the class.
Take the notes to your teacher and point out the area that you have missed. They will be happy to help you understand the topic.
Make a New Friend
If you don't want to ask the teacher, you can request a classmate who appears to know what's going on. They can probably explain things to you differently when there is a pause in the lecture, says the English medium CBSE schools in South Kolkata.
By asking questions, you'll also be assisting them in learning the material because they'll be putting it into practice by teaching you.
If their one answer isn't enough to help you understand what's going on, start writing down your questions and asking them after class.
If there isn't time after class, ask if they'd be willing to meet with you and help you better understand the class material.
